Welcome to the
US portion of the collection.
Since the United States has so many campaign medals, they have been
granted
their own heading. Since there is not a clear distinction between
service
medals and campaign in the US military, the distinction I am using is
'location'.
That is a campaign medal is awarded for service within a particular
location.
For this reason I am placing the Occupation medals with the campaign
medals,
and the Victory medals in the 'service' category.
